Justin M. Schlabach is a New York City based Theatre Director and Writer. Earning his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Eastern Washington University, Justin has worked on a wide range of theatrical productions. His first directed play was the musical Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story as his Senior Capstone for which he was awarded a Certificate of Merit in Direction from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Region VII. Following college, Justin founded and functioned as the Artistic Director for Lilac City Performing Arts in Spokane, Washington with whom he directed Carrie: The Musical for their inaugural production. His most recent work was writing and directing Solitaire: An Original Play in New York City over the course of two runs in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan and Times Square, Manhattan. Other works include writing and directing Hog Heaven and On the Subway with Old Orchard Theatre in Green Bluff, Washington as well as directing the stage reading of Once Upon with Writopia Labs in New York City.
